Time out with Yoga Retreat Bodensee

I wasn’t able to savour the local Swiss charm when I came back from my mission in Thailand. Also, November obviously wasn’t the perfect timing for reconnecting with my childhood’s home. Fog, rain cold, grey, marked the days – very fast I was gone again.
It’s only years later I came in July and suddenly the days at lake Bodensee appeared with beauty, calm and happiness. In July 2022 I offer the opportunity to other ladies for an immersion into an authentic Swiss village, relaxing with yoga, gentle bike tours and swimming in the lake.
Before opening the public bathing beach, at 8.30 in the morning, Yoga am See offers public classes for all levels. Under the old trees, with an unobstructed view of the sky, the lake and the island of Reichenau, the yoga class in the silence of the morning is always a special experience.
In the evening, a cooling down class with meditation might perfectly fit to one of my favourite sunset places. One of the rooms is also a nice setting for indoor practice.
Yoga Retreat is also Excursions
We have several bikes and various tours to chose from. My favourite one starts in the after-noon along the lake’s shore and fields, through a forest and the idyllic village of Gottlieben to Konstanz.
We can jump in the lake at the public bathing beach on the way or on arrival in Konstanz where the lake is rather a river with its stream.
Here I take you to the best Pizzeria in town, at least that’s how it appears, as we are always hungry arriving there. Konstanz offers a wide variety of restaurants for all tastes and budgets.
On the way home we drive towards sunset, magic in this season, we surely stop for a moment of mindfulness.
The attraction of water
We are located a 3-minute walk from lake Bodensee. This allows you a trip to the shore whenever you feel like doing so: early morning, late evening, for a jump in the water during the hot times or laying in the shadow of a tree.
The car-free walk and bicycle ways take you kilometres towards north and south, always along the shore.
You have one of two single rooms for yourself. Everything else is shared, including a modern kitchen with living room and a peaceful garden area.
After morning-yoga we have a nice and healthy breakfast together.
The fridge is at your disposal, you can help yourself with fruits and all basic products. For the evening, we decide if we cook together or go for a picnic or maybe to a restaurant.
We are located a 5-minute walk from the train station and 3 minutes to the lake. Free car park is also available.

As said earlier, only 2 single rooms are available. A 3rd bed might be added, on request. We will be a party of max 4 persons.

Your Mind and Emotions follow your Body
It is an effect I observe at every retreat and don’t try to explain: The more we practise yoga together, experience stillness and also excursions, the more we feel connected – to ourselves and to others around us.
You of course have time for yourself. You also can take an evening for yourself or drive/take a train to the Rhine Falls. There’s however a big chance that we spend most of these 4 days together.
I’m looking much forward rediscovering with my guests the paths along lake Bodensee, sharing amazement, laughter and fun.

Come back more relaxed, mindful and connected to myself
The week of yoga retreat in Fuerteventura was fantastic. Many thanks to Milica for the various daily yoga and meditation classes, for the exploration of the island (including some remote and unforgettable corners), for surrounding us of so many nice people and taking care of us all the time!
When I departed, I had some doubts mostly due to Covid-related uncertainties, however I am very happy of the decision made to join the yoga retreat and I certainly managed to achieve what I was hoping for before departing: some self-care time in order to come back more relaxed, mindful and connected to myself – on top of new friends! It felt like meeting old friends again
It was one of the best decisions I made in the past year; a yoga retreat in Fuerteventura, that sounds fantastic! It was fantastic, even though I had no experience with yoga, it was not difficult for me to follow the exercises, as Miliza did a great job of explaining and showing everything.
We spent a wonderful week full of little adventures and new experiences. Everyone involved was passionate about what they were doing and it felt like meeting old friends again. The organisation was professional and tailored to the needs of the participants. Thank you for many unforgettable moments!
Let go and feel reconnected to oneself
The retreat in Chiang Mai was an unforgettable week, physically and emotionally intense. Real moments of exchange and sharing around yoga and meditation. This retreat not only rejuvenated me but I felt regenerated as the days went by.
I think the place was particularly well-chosen, Miliza, and the synergy of the group really allowed me to be as relaxed as ever! I also think practicing disciplines like yoga and meditation in connection with nature helps tremendously to let go and feel reconnected to oneself. A gentle well-being!
A pure moment of relaxation
Thank you, Miliza, for all your organization, I spent a very good time, met nice people, learned so many things during these few days, was eating healthy food, visiting nice places. The massage was so marvellous, I recommend to everyone to try it, the herbal hot compress is good for relaxation! The meditation in the middle of nature and with the presence of a monk was one of the highlights, a pure moment of relaxation.
It was a nice retreat, it was so fun, wonderful time spent with this group. Hope to see you again for another retreat.
Intense week with well distributed activities
We had a warm welcome and spent an intense week with well distributed activities. Yoga classes were possible even for beginners particularly as we were in a small group. We had very carefully prepared meals, met wonderful people of different nationalities and this allowed us to build up a nice energy. The outdoor meditation was a great time for a reconnection to our dear mother earth.
The teachers gave us high quality methods and practices.
